I have just returned from Castle Gap, Texas in mid September 2009. I was had driven the owner of the land and met the person from Odessa, Texas who has been looking for Maximilian treasure for thirteen years. All of us drove out to Castle Gap and spent a little time there as I was given a brief tour of the Gap. With the owner's permission, I will be going back to the area of the Gap to look for the other treasures there. A treasure hunting partner of mine will be there too because of the numerous rattlesnakes and reports of mountain lions in the immediate area. This is definately one of the top places to hunt for treasure in Texas. Will be heading back to the Castle Gap area in October 2009. It's going to be nice to be in historic area of Texas.
